My office has had a leak from the celling area for over a week. The ceiling is water is due to an air conditioning maintenance issue. Workman have been out to see it and that is where it is left.
I overheard our administrators secretary talking about this. I asked her why it wasn’t fixed yet. She stated we are waiting for money from corporate to pay for it. It’s been over 10 days since this originally was looked at.
Now.. the big boss was talking to management yesterday. SHe was trying to quell the rumors of our office and corporation having $$ issues. She said we have all heard the rumors of financial hardship. It isn’t true! I laughed and told them all about the air con issue and “waiting for money” from corporate to pay for it and the big boss looked at me asked who said THAT?? I didn’t want to tell her it was her own assistant! The big boss denied it, down played it and and said it’s the office’s rental agency who is suppose to fix this not us. We aren’t waiting!
We rent the office. Our building is owned by a company that we pay our rent to.
